Will this fry my Arduino?

below picture of arduino mega powered 9v battery. on top board wifi sheild, , on top motorsheild powered 9v battery. shield run 12v 200x stepper motor. have led strip wired pin6 , power leading motorshields 5v , gnd pins. led strip powered on 1 end 5v wall-wart.

i notice pins 5v , gnd go arduino pins 5v , gnd. power arduino board handle?

also might 9v battery on sheilds screw terminals larger 12v.

if power leading arduino, must do?

more 12v fry arduino, dinky little 9v batteries run
it few hours. also, they'll run wifi board lot less time. in general,
it's best use separate batteries power arduino , motors, keep
motor electrical noise off logic, either way, want filter , bypass caps
on motor power terminals.

i use nimh aa-cells in wired series power portable arduino apps. 12v sla might
for stepper.
