can install ubuntu , uninstall windows afterwards?

version of ubuntu best use?

yes sir can. wanting dual boot or want install ubuntu erase windows? , unless familar ubuntu , can run daily operations not recommend getting rid of windows yet. if ubuntu capable means move forward plan. can install ubuntu , during installation setup ubuntu ask if import profiles...from there can import thing windows profiles had. or can install mount windows , transfer files there! (just giving options here) please give few more details on plan can make educated decisions.
