Restaurant reviewing and rating - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all.

i know there have been few discussions on implementing restaurant directory, although find few answers questions, didn't feel ready start. many questions remain open.

at 1 moment, thought maybe ought lower expectations site i'm dreaming of if wanted run on joomla. or maybe should try find php+mysql specialist , ask her/him build such site.
but seemed better stick joomla while, keep expectations high , ask enough precise questions, giving enough background information make clear possible looking for.

so took paper, started mindmapping software, slept little last night  , produced document containing (a) description of site of dreams , (b) numbered questions joomla-specialists on forum.

as noticed quite intrest restaurant-related topic, started wondering if wouldn't possible cooperate on few people. wouldn't mind paying me started, small project me, nice keep costs low. cooperating few people might reduce cost. it's idea.

some of questions might me (although not of them have same importance: features options added later):

"question 3": possible have registered people automatically e-mailed when new review has been added?
"question 4": if want advanced searching etc., don't need relational database store restaurants? facileforms or mosforms way go?
"question 6": can xtdratings or jreviews cooperate such database (see question 4), give average result restaurant info?
"question 8": possible list restaurants alphabetically (or otherwise) , publish average score next each restaurant name? score should come rating component , adjusted automatically.
"question 9": advanced searching, combining several fields (price category, parking available, ...) , several values 1 field (french or/and italian cuisine and open today...). how this?

the questions little vague, hope become clear moment have read abovementioned document.

there several review , rating components along appropriate modules showing highly rated, etc. in extensions directory http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,listcats/cat_id,1797/itemid,35/ may want review of - perhaps install , try them out , come remaining questions.
