Thread: after x server starts keyboard stops working!!

hi

i've been following this how-to install xbmc on headless machine, have been having trouble x server.

if run
code:
sudo xinit
session start blank console attempt me type console using keyboard doesn't anything!!

can't ctrl+c out of it, have either hard reset or log in via ssh , kill x process.

installed xbmc using atp-get after adding sources.list file correct repo's , when try , run get:

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
