Thread: Sound in HP Pavillion tx2500z CTO not working

i'm running ubuntu 9.04 cannot sound work on hp pavillion tx2500z cto notebook. i've tried of methods on site none of them seem work compy. suggestions?

following line seems work tx2500 users:

options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=toshiba position_fix=1
add bottom of file "alsa-base.conf" @ "/etc/modprobe.d/". don't worry says toshiba.

edit enter in terminal:
code:
gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
save, close, , reboot.

check see if mixer muted. if make sure sliders up.

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
