open PDF with acrobat reader not preview

hi everyone:
i have been creating cross platform projects while now. noticed opening pdf director tend open in "preview" not in acrobat. there way can tell mac project open pdfs in acrobat, if acrobat doesnt exist open them in "preview." on pc open in acrobat (i guess due pc not having can read pdfs naively.)
by way, create projects on pc, , test them on mac.

is how supposed on mac? maybe asking outta know...(like pdfs open on preview on macs?)
