Thread: DNS lookup very slow

hi,
dns lookup in ubuntu 9.1 extremely slow. when inspected resolv.conf file got following content.

code:
nameserver 192.168.0.65  nameserver 192.168.0.66  nameserver 222.165.160.18
out of these 3 first 2 invalid!. dont know how these entries here though.

using wicd network manager , have set have 1 wired connection static ip anbd have put '222.165.160.18' dns lookup server ip, gets appended last entry. tell me other 2 entries come?

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
