Thread: wireless stopped working

a while ago, having trouble connecting internet, able correctly install madwifi , worked great. today though, installed new updates , when restarted computer, wireless internet inexplicably stopped working. suggestions?

fyi in case couldn't tell, i'm new linux, i'd appreciate if answers kept simple possible.

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
