Yahoo Hosting (Error 999) - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hi everyone, started using joomla , love it, having strange problem , wondering if else has seen this.
typically using admin sections of site, locked out of yahoo. infamous error 999 issue. locks me out of entire domain around 1 hour. generic message yahoo posts basically, scan system malicious code, blah blah.
i security professional , 99.9999% sure have no malicious code on system. have ids , ips plus firewall , av installed on end , nothing being triggered, suspecting false positive on yahoos side of things.
i thinking has query running against mysql or other weirdness yahoo incorrectly tagging attack on domain , blocking ip. can access hosting control panel , ftp domain thats it. scripting , access logs dont show abnormal @ all, dont think related site (i wrong). there php function being called or mysql function causing false positive?
of course happens @ inconvenient times. insight can give.

this not strong suit take is...a blind guess. ![smiley :)](./images/smilies/smiley.gif)
could blocking ip pool , not specific address? i've had issues godaddy blocking emails ip pool , that's made me think of it.
