Thread: Can't install ubuntu, only use live session.

i downloaded , burned ubuntu cd , boots fine. go through installation instructions , gets installing system window. @ 5% (creating ext3 file system on partition), goes black screen , loads live session. ideas?

have checked cd errors?

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
