Thread: Need help getting sound working.

installed xubuntu 9.04 last week after using windows life, getting sound working bit of headache, , after spending week trying working, had messed bad needed reinstall xubuntu.

here am, fresh installation asking on how sound running. alsa mixer detects 3 sound cards, 1 creative sb live, other intel thing , last oss.

either of these working. think intel onboard sound card , creative 1 one came 5.1 surround sound lol.

please keep simple, new lol in advance.

help please...

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
