Thread: Very simple problem, Please help!

i installed ubuntu 9.04 on moms computer using cd. had partition hard drive. had windows vista on it. has both ubuntu , vista. problem when starts can choose either 1 , vista works fine (except bugs , problems of course) ubuntu looks huge , big , big hard use or change settings. how make ubuntu screen not big , pixelized?

first got system -> preferences -> display , see if there higher resolution available.
