Thread: saving sound volume in xfce4

i using xfce4 on ubuntu 9.04 on amd64. works fine, volume produces login sound drops 0 open media player rhythm box or movie player. have shortcut aumix in panel , have manually increase volume every session. tried opening aumix root , saving it, nothing happenned. how ensure volume stays @ value other zero?

any suggestions please ?
