Powering my project with 15V

hi everybody,

i have working spare laptop power supply, outputs 15v (for max of 4a).
i use power arduino , components of circuit.
how can supply stable 5v arduino , 15v eletronic of project? project made of bunch of leds , couple of 2n2222 piloted arduino.

for arduino need >7v (the standard power input). may use ie. 7808 voltage regulator.

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
