Crashes when saving after I add audio to slides

hi everyone,
i started using captivate , lot of functionality...autorecord, etc. having problem though. have slide presentation 11 slides long. used auto record capture slides , went in , cleaned slides. worked great , able save no problems. however, last night recorded short audio bits 9 of 11 slides , when tried save computer hung-up , required hard-reboot. tried save after each audio bit recorded, didn't far app crashed tried save after first audio recording. using locally on pc/windows xp box. have pentium 4-3.4 ghz processor , 1 gig of ram. have ideas why might happening or how working?

any feedback appreciated.

just couple of things t o first check, have tried recroding audio using app on pc , cause app crash?

also, have checked audio drivers date soundcard?

as aside -- can have pc? lol

avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000 0x0c != 0x62
