removeChild() or If statement

want ask about...removechild ..targeting...?
in case have movieclip on stage(transparent)not put there addchild () want remove no longer serves purporse ( droptarget) ... keep trying use when addchild errors 2025
or workaround on one:
if see if have written statement correct regarding the placement , such of " a" in statement below:
