Thread: imac 8,1 with nvidia graphics

when @ mactel ubuntu compatibility grid, there 1 entry imacs, no matter generation. made big deal of, use ati graphics cards , ati cards don't play nice nvidia cards do. [i found true in windoze world well, installing nvidia cards on pc's build ubuntu compatibility]. well, imac 8,1, 3.06mhz/2gb has nvidia card, wonder what/if problems have installing jaunty on separate partiion?

got jaunty working great on macbook 3,1 2.2ghz/1mb, guide, in case, instructions specific.
