Webcam no longer working - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi guys, have tried setup cctv server using motion installed on raspbian,
however, webcam not detected. when type lsusb comes no manufacturer info, etc.
in motion command line stops @ resizing pre_capture buffer 1 items
webcam maplin neptune 720p hd , uvc.
before detected usb 2.0 camera isn't.
have reinstalled raspbian several times.
