Not Opening the SD file to upload to FTP

hello all

i farily new arduino , programming in general, please bare me.

i have been developing code read co2 sensor , ultrasonic range finder. code working great.
i using surfertim's ftp upload/download code arduino playground. when load code arduino board works fine.
the problem comes when try combine 2 codes. runs should until time upload files ftp. program gets stuck opening file on sd card, ftp upload not begin. after ftp try, co2 sensor producing number indicates not reading.

any appreciated

perhaps there problem in code.  if show code might able figure out going wrong.

my first guess didn't close out file writing before tried read it.
