Code for Addressable LED Trickle effect.

hey guys. trying to  program led strips create effect of trickling icicle drops. if can imagine white light traveling down strip skipping every other light.  figure out how run in reverse.

reason: im going installing hundreds of these in forest area, id create effect of leds falling towards treetops, id reverse gain alien abduction effect. if makes kind of sense.

please me this! cant seem find information in programming addressable leds.
