Update Mirrors? - Raspberry Pi Forums
i find in johannesburg download speeds when applying apt-get update & apt-get upgrade in wheezy around 20 kbps ie 10% of available speed of 200 kbps. seems downloads coming .in server. know there mirrors locally installed <synaptic manager> see if there alternative source ubuntu. nothing comes up. can comment on please. , test site use in speedtest measure internet performance source(s) used apt-get update & apt-get upgrade?
do see reference ".ind" server when type command sudo apt-get update?. see references raspbian.org , raspberrypi.org here: did add ppa raspbian repository?.
take file /etc/apt/sources.list , folder /etc/apt/sources.list.d.
