data storage SD card or HDD? - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi guys,

have lot of instructions (1000s write cycles/per day) rpi storage sd card. think if should use storage sd card or hdd.
heard there limited write cycles sd card (approx. 100,000). , when power goes down in moment when rpi writing data sd card, can corrupt sd card - maybe hdd more resistant failure. right?

what's opinion?

if writing lots , putting hd in mix can in long run ,
, usb hub + usb hd adapter , hd , power can made quite small....

sort of application looking @ ?

can add battery backup device if needed
