500 NULL error on DB Insert (SQL Server)
i getting "500 null" error when inserting large textfile "text" column in sql server. running mx 7.0.1 on windows 2000 server sql 2000 sp4. i'm using default jdbc drivers shipped mx 7 (and have been updated 7.0.1 updater). after isolating sections of code, have created reproducible problem. error nasty "500 null" error. page returns text "500 null" (title jrun servlet error) no cf debug or error messages. exception.log contains corresponding entry each occurance of message "java.lang.outofmemoryerror".
my test code reads in 14mb text file , stores in variable. performs cfquery insert statement , tries insert variable's contents sql server database table. column configured "text". have configured datasource in cf admin enable long text retrieval. that's code - 6 lines - read file file system , try insert database. fails "500 null" error every time.
cf installed in standalone configuration (that hides underlying jrun).
does have thoughts on resolving this?
