dragging an object

i have scale on screen user draggable ball on it.

the scale in years 1,1.5,2.2.5 5

i'm using path allow user drag. can use pathposition
variable give 0 100, how can format pathposition variable
only return desired increments? (1,1.5,2,2.5 etc)
