hello, i have lcd screen use 9600 baud rate using though 1 serial ports of mega. using other serial ports () @ different, higher baud rate. such problems in reading characters , garbage in serial monitor. multiple baud rate reason. possible use multiple baud rates serials without problems? thanks george   can try them @ same rate , see if continue have problems? not sure why have different rates. hey all, tried upgrading ubuntu 9.04 via update manager 8.10. had kind of postfix package installation failure , totally stopped whole upgrade in middle. after reboot, looks missing root file system. there no etc/fstab. thinking best way re-install everything. did not have lot configured on os not big deal have software raid 5 array seperate os partitions absolutely want back. setup current os using server cd , set os partitions mirrored, seperate raid 5 array media. best way go this? think worth trying recover current os? can go through os setup using server cd , reform raid 5 array without losing data? help. i'm not expert on software raid, appears server cd equipped recognize raid 5 array. best bet may try verify raid5 array , assemble server cd , performing raid1 install os partitions. install, if array can verified, automatically mount raid5 on boot. expert views on this? ...

on homemade segway, first used analog 5dof board, i've switched mpu6050 class using dmp (motionapps v2.0).  with analog one, had "calibrate" accel offset, , gyro offset.  one, using jeff r.'s libraries, seems computing, , 1 output give ypr[] in degrees.  had lot of computing, along offset number analog 5dof, lot easier.  my question:  appears don't have recalibrate kind of offset did analog one, correct?  put out correct ypr each time turn on? thanks. "top 10" shows details of top-10 winners of contest. client has said under circumstances "top 10" display grid need display table of dynamic data of undetermined height (that "top 30" or "top 100"). firstly imagine data need embedded in scrollable movie-clip adjusts height based on amount of data there is. disappointed learn flash html not support tables. i've seen reference components available, seem sort of big jump client sees minor change application. please me determine easiest route me take? tell client flash cannot display html table. so, it's no small change display table. that said, may able use list component display data , if no grid needed, can use dynamic textfield tabs display data. hello, new here , posting... have big problem. few days ago impatient wait freeze of screen when mozzila turned grey , pushed button shut down. (i sure linux indestructible ) after ubuntu didn't start anymore tried recovery , later tried live session , lot of commands e2fsck , fsck , tried start nohz=off , many things result same. there's no os. using ubuntu 9.04. tried gparted live , checked disk many times. interesting there no /etc folder on system hd anymore?? hd bad sectors, checked hd , memory , found nothing wrong. also, folders locked not of them. alredy copied important files (movies/music/pictures/games images...etc) , ready format disk if there no other solution (luckily of files needed not locked). save os because customised (and many programs well) , don't wish again. have idea how solve this. thank all! posted zemunelo ...
